{"id":895664,"date":"2024-06-27T15:23:46","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T19:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gematsu.com\/?p=895664"},"modified":"2024-06-29T15:51:44","modified_gmt":"2024-06-29T19:51:44","slug":"multiple-assassins-creed-remakes-planned-ubisoft-ceo-yves-guillemot-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gematsu.com\/2024\/06\/multiple-assassins-creed-remakes-planned-ubisoft-ceo-yves-guillemot-says","title":{"rendered":"Multiple Assassin&#8217;s Creed remakes planned, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Multiple <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed<\/em> remakes are currently planned at Ubisoft, company CEO Yves Guillemot revealed in an interview published on the <a href=\"https:\/\/news.ubisoft.com\/en-us\/article\/E1e8T9q8rjZ4arsPNT1Xd\/ceo-yves-guillemot-on-ubisofts-upcoming-portfolio-the-future-of-assassins-creed\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ubisoft Blog<\/a> today. <!--more-->\n<p>&#8220;Players can be excited about some remakes, which will allow us to revisit some of the games we&#8217;ve created in the past and modernize them,&#8221; Guillemot said. &#8220;There are worlds in some of our older <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed<\/em> games that are still extremely rich.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Guillemot also said players can continue to expect a similar variety of <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed<\/em> games going forward, referring to the smaller in scope <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Mirage<\/em> and the much larger <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Shadows<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There will be plenty of experience variety,&#8221; Guillemot said. &#8220;The goal is to have <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed<\/em> games come out more regularly, but not for it to be the same experience every year. There are a lot of good things to come, including <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Hexe<\/em>, which we&#8217;ve announced, which is going to be a very different game from <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Shadows<\/em>.
